Amazon has just released Amazon DCV 2025.0, bringing new improvements to productivity, security, and platform compatibility for remote desktops and application sessions.

This latest version introduces several key enhancements:

  • WebAuthn redirection on Windows and standard browser-based WebAuthn on Linux, enabling hardware key authentication (YubiKey, Windows Hello, etc.) within DCV sessions.
  • Linux client support for ARM architecture, expanding flexibility and performance.
  • Windows Server 2025 compatibility, aligning with the latest enterprise standards.
  • Improved keyboard layout handling between clients and hosts for smoother input.
  • Scroll wheel optimizations for a more responsive user experience.

These updates continue to make DCV the most reliable and secure remote desktop solution for high-performance workloads.
