Disable DCV Server local audio

If you need to disable the local sound events and reproduce the audio just in the DCV Viewer, here we provide a way to achieve that.

Create an output device that does not play any sound:

pactl load-module module-null-sink sink_name=NoOutput

Then you can select the “NoOutput Audio/Sink sink” device in the Settings app, under “Sound” section.

For both Windows and Linux servers if you want to restore the audio settings after create a DCV session, you need to close the session.

Important: You need to use the DCV server 19030 version or greater.
